ALOCANE #BURNSOFSUMMER CAMPAIGN / POST DESIGN & ART DIRECTION
Though ALOCANE was (and still is) the best-selling burn gel on the market, their social media presence at the start of this campaign was nearly non-existent. To show the potential of social media as a channel of customer interaction, the #BurnsOfSummer giveaway campaign was created. Prompting people to share stories (and sometimes photos) of the worst or most interesting ways they’d been burned in exchange for a sample size of ALOCANE. This campaign quickly became the most engaged with and shared posts for ALOCANE on Facebook, and led to hundreds of comments and entries for a brand that rarely had more than a dozen likes on any individual post.
