Printmaking / Yellow Tree (Screenprint)
This is a 6-color print of a nice, simple scene. It wasn't nice and simple to print however; I only had access to one screen at the time, and could only print 2 layers between reclaims because of the size of the art. Still, it's one of my favorites.
After first being exposed to the medium and process of printmaking in college, it’s served as my most direct personal creative outlet. In addition to being incredible exposure to a culture of interesting, creative people, printmaking's requirement of persistence and its focus on process has structured my own design methodology and creative development.
